Make me nice.

I need a new haircut. It's currently long and brown and left to its own devices, somewhat wavy. It also tend to part in the middlish and flop out a la Bonnie Franklin. Do I go to, say, Milio's, and say "kindly pick a hairstyle that fits my face" and let them go for it?

I will say this much. I am happy with the color, so I'm not interested in changing that. But other than that...I'm down for whatever. Got any suggestions?

I did really shave a friend's head once and I have pictures of the event. She's half Asian, so when her hair started growing out, it stuck straight out of her head in all directions. She had to wear hats for a LONG TIME.

If you figure it out, let me know. I had Paul take an inch of my hair off the other night when I decided that I wasn't happy with my haircut at all.

You really do have a face that could carry shorter hair, though. I say go full 1920s bob. The wave in your hair should make it really cute.

Well, considering your skin tone, I think you can avoid association with the Republicans if you really try. To the tanning booth!

Seriously, no, I think it'd be fine. You can always put cute barrettes and bobby pins (I don't know, like these) in it if it does read too conservative for you. (Though I've always found that the more conservative the woman, the longer the hair, right up 'til it's time for the menopause bubble.)
